Sacred History

Bhooma Devi Temple was established as a living testament to the enduring power of bhakti and the Divine Mother's grace. For generations, this sacred ground has welcomed devotees seeking solace, blessings, and spiritual guidance. Under the compassionate leadership of Arisi Siddhar Guruji and the Arisi Siddhar Annadhanam Trust, the temple has grown from a humble shrine into a vibrant centre of worship, annadhanam, and community service — preserving ancient traditions while serving the needs of the present age.

Our Vision

We envision Bhooma Devi Temple as a luminous beacon of Sanatana Dharma — a place where every soul, regardless of background, finds welcome, nourishment, and spiritual upliftment. Our vision is to cultivate a community rooted in devotion, compassion, and selfless service, where the principles of annadhanam and seva transform lives and inspire generations to walk the path of dharma with courage and grace.

Our Mission

Our mission is threefold: to maintain a sacred space for daily worship and festival celebrations honouring Bhooma Devi; to sustain annadhanam as a daily offering to all who hunger; and to nurture a devoted community engaged in seva, spiritual learning, and charitable works. Through these pillars, we strive to embody the Divine Mother's compassion in every action and every prayer.

Spiritual Significance

Bhooma Devi, the Divine Mother of the Earth, embodies the nurturing, sustaining power of creation itself. Worship at this temple connects devotees to the primal energy of the Goddess — the force that gives life to all beings and sustains the cosmos. Pilgrims who offer sincere prayers here report experiences of deep peace, healing, and spiritual clarity. The temple's annadhanam programme further embodies the Mother's compassion, feeding body and soul alike.

Sacred Architecture

The temple's architecture follows the classical Dravidian tradition, with a majestic gopuram welcoming devotees, intricately carved pillars in the mandapam, and a sanctum sanctorum designed to focus the mind on the Divine. Every sculptural detail — from the lotus motifs to the deity forms adorning the walls — has been crafted to inspire awe and devotion. The layout guides pilgrims through a sacred journey from the outer world into the inner sanctum, mirroring the spiritual path from ignorance to enlightenment.
